An area of low pressure will continue to slide through central Illinois tonight. Meanwhile, a cold front will push in from the northwest. These two systems will allow for variably cloudy skies tonight, with just a slight chance for a shower. Areas of fog may develop with temperatures falling into the middle 60s by early Monday. Monday will be variably cloudy, warm, and humid. There will be a chance for showers or an isolated thunderstorm as the cold front pushes southeast. Highs will top out in the lower 80s.
High pressure will build into the region Tuesday and Wednesday, leading to mostly sunny skies and lower humidity. Highs will reach the upper 70s on Tuesday, and the lower 80s on Wednesday.
Thursday will be partly sunny, warm, and turning a little more humid with highs in the middle 80s. A weak wave will pass through Wisconsin Thursday night into Friday, triggering a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the middle 80s on Friday, and it will be humid. Saturday will be partly sunny and warm, but less humid with highs in the middle 80s. Sunday will be partly sunny, warm, and turning more humid again with highs in the middle 80s. A slight chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop Sunday night.
