A cold front will sweep through southern Wisconsin early today as a low pressure system moves to the northeast of Wisconsin. Behind the front, skies will be variably cloudy, and it will be windy, cooler, and less humid with highs only reaching the lower 70s. There is also a chance of a few isolated showers on the back side of the low.
High pressure will build across the region Thursday and Friday. Any light showers or patchy drizzle will end early on Thursday and skies will gradually clear and it will be pleasant with low humidity. High temperatures will be in the lower 70s Thursday, and in the lower 80s Friday.
Saturday will be partly sunny, breezy, very warm, and more humid with high temperatures in the middle 80s and heat index values approaching 90. A cold front will move through Wisconsin later Saturday night into Sunday, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms through the area. Behind the front, Sunday will be breezy and cooler with highs dropping back into the upper 70s.
Early next week will be partly to mostly sunny and pleasant as high pressure returns. Highs will be in the upper 70s on Monday and Tuesday.
