Today will be mostly cloudy and a little cooler with showers and thunderstorms developing this afternoon as a storm system moves through Wisconsin. High temperatures will be near 70 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms will continue tonight with lows near 60.
Showers and thunderstorms will come to an end on Saturday and some clearing is possible in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the middle 70s. After the low pressure system moves off to the east, warmer air will move into Wisconsin for the second half of the weekend. Sunday will be partly sunny, warmer and more humid with high temperatures in the lower to middle 80s.
Next week will be hot, humid and rain free. Monday will be partly sunny, very warm and humid with highs in the mid 80s and heat index values near 90. The rest of the week we will sit under a ridge of high pressure and see virtually the same conditions every day. It will be partly sunny with highs near 90 and heat index values in the mid to upper 90s every day from Tuesday through Saturday.
