High pressure will continue to influence our weather today with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will start in the middle 50s, but climb to the lower 80s this afternoon.
A slow-moving wave of low pressure will slide through the Midwest late in the work week. Ahead of that wave, it will be partly sunny, warm, and a little more humid on Thursday with highs in the lower 80s. A slight chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop late Thursday night into early Friday, as a cluster of storms from the area of low pressure to the west, potentially moves into southern Wisconsin. Some additional showers and thunderstorms may develop Friday as the low pressure system and cold front push through Wisconsin. Friday will be warm and humid with highs remaining in the lower 80s.
The weekend will be warmer and more humid with highs in the middle 80s. Saturday will be partly sunny. A slight chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop on Sunday.
Monday will bring another chance for showers and thunderstorms. It will be a warm and humid day with highs in the lower 80s. High pressure will build into the region Tuesday with less humidity, but warm temperatures in the lower 80s.
