This afternoon will be partly sunny, very warm, and humid with a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will top out around 90 degrees; heat index values will be in the lower to middle 90s. It will be partly cloudy and muggy tonight with patchy fog possible. Lows will be in the upper 60s once again.
The weekend should be dry, as Saturday and Sunday will both be partly sunny, hot and humid with high temperatures in the lower 90s and heat index values in the middle to upper 90s.
A cold front will push into Wisconsin by Monday morning and pass to our south on Monday, generating widely scattered showers and thunderstorms as it passes. Monday won't be as warm, but it will still be humid with high temperatures in the lower 80s.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy and pleasant with highs near 80. A low pressure system will approach from the west late in the day, and showers and thunderstorms will develop late in the day or overnight. That system will pass through the area on Wednesday, and it will be mostly cloudy, breezy, warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms and highs in the lower 80s.
Later next week, another surge of very warm and humid air will move in as the warm front moves to the north. It will be partly sunny, breezy, very warm and humid from Thursday through Saturday with highs rising from the mid 80s into the lower 90s by the weekend.
