A low pressure system will move into the area from the west later this afternoon, bringing showers and thunderstorms to the area again by this evening  Skies will be mostly cloudy, and while it will be humid, it won't be as warm. High temperatures will be near 80. As the low moves by to the north tonight, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue and it will remain mild and muggy with lows in the upper 60s.

On Wednesday, a cold front will sweep through southern Wisconsin early in the day as the low pressure system moves to the northeast of Wisconsin. Skies will be mostly cloudy, but scattered showers and thunderstorms should end with the passage of the cold front. Behind the front, skies will be variably cloudy, and it will be windy, cooler, and less humid with highs only reaching the lower 70s. There is also a chance of a few isolated showers in the afternoon on the back side of the low.

High pressure will build across the region Thursday and Friday. Skies will be partly sunny and it will be pleasant with low humidity. High temperatures will be in the middle 70s Thursday, and in the lower 80s Friday.

Saturday will be partly sunny, windy, very warm, and more humid with high temperatures in the middle to upper 80s and heat index values reaching the lower 90s. A cold front will move through Wisconsin later Saturday night into Sunday, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms through the area. Behind the front, Sunday will be breezy, cooler and less humid with highs dropping back into the upper 70s.

Early next week will be mostly sunny and pleasant as high pressure returns. Highs will be in the mid 70s on Monday and upper 70s on Tuesday.
