High pressure will continue to influence our weather this afternoon with quiet weather conditions. Skies will gradually become partly sunny this afternoon as a few clouds develop with the daytime heating. Temperatures will climb to the lower 80s. Skies will become mostly clear tonight with temperatures falling to the middle 50s by early Thursday. Thursday will be partly sunny and continued warm with highs in the lower 80s.
A slow-moving wave of low pressure will slide through the Midwest late in the work week. A slight chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop very late Thursday night ahead of the system. A little better chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop Friday as the main area of low pressure and the cold front track through Wisconsin. Friday will be warm and more humid with highs remaining in the lower 80s.
The weekend will be warm and humid with highs in the lower to middle 80s. Saturday will be partly sunny. A slight chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop on Sunday.
Monday will bring another chance for showers and thunderstorms. It will be a warm and humid day with highs in the lower 80s. High pressure will build into the region Tuesday and Wednesday with lower humidity, but warm temperatures in the lower 80s.
