Cooler air will push into southern Wisconsin today with variably cloudy skies and a slight chance for a shower, mainly east of Madison. High temperatures will only reach the middle 60s. Temperatures will become quite cool tonight as skies become mostly clear. Overnight lows will fall into the lower 40s.
We should see pleasant, but cool weather for the weekend. Saturday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the middle 60s. Sunday will be mostly sunny and a little milder with high temperatures near 70.
Early next week, another surge of warmer air will move into the Midwest. It will be partly sunny and breezy with high temperatures approaching 80 on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday will be partly sunny, windy, and warm with highs in the lower 80s. A front will move into Wisconsin Wednesday night, bringing showers and thunderstorms to the area. Those showers will end Thursday morning. Another chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop later Friday. Highs on Thursday and Friday will be near 80 degrees.
