Friday will be partly sunny, very warm, and humid with high temperatures near 90 degrees, and heat index values in the lower to middle 90s.
The Labor Day weekend will continue with well above-normal temperatures. Saturday and Sunday will be partly sunny, hot, and humid with high temperatures near 90 and heat index values in the middle 90s. As a cold front approaches from the northwest, a chance for showers and thunderstorms will develop from Sunday night into Labor Day Monday. On Labor Day, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue, mainly in the morning. It will remain warm and humid with highs dropping into the mid 80s.
Behind the cold front, Tuesday should be partly sunny, warm, and less humid with high temperatures in the lower 80s. Another chance of showers and thunderstorms will develop on Wednesday as highs drop into the upper 70s. Thursday will be partly sunny and pleasant with highs in the mid 70s.
