This afternoon will be partly sunny and very mild. There is a slight chance for showers late in areas northwest of Madison as a cold front approaches from the northwest. High temperatures will be near 80 degrees.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy and it will turn cooler as the cold front moves through southern Wisconsin. Showers are likely; an isolated thunderstorm is possible. Temperatures will fall to the middle 60s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will be in the middle 50s by morning.
The cold front will continue to move southeastward Tuesday, with showers coming to an end early in the day. Skies will become partly sunny for the rest of the day. It will be breezy and cooler with high temperatures dropping back to the middle 60s.
High pressure will develop just north of the Midwest, and keep our weather sunny, dry, and seasonably cool through the weekend. It will also be breezy from Wednesday through Friday before the winds lighten up a bit for the weekend. High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 60s, with night time low temperature in the lower 40s from Wednesday through Sunday.
Next Monday should be partly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures in the lower to middle 60s as well.
