High pressure will continue to influence our weather tonight with mostly clear skies. Winds will shift out of the southwest by later in the night, keeping low temperatures in the lower 40s.
A cold front will move through the state on Thursday with variably cloudy skies and a chance for isolated showers. Highs will be in the lower to middle 60s. Behind the front, skies will become clear Thursday night. Areas of frost will be possible as lows drop into the middle 30s. Friday will be partly sunny and much cooler with highs in the upper 40s. Widespread frost will develop Friday night and a hard freeze is likely in some areas as temperatures fall into the middle 20s.
Saturday will be mostly sunny, but unseasonably cool with highs in the upper 40s. Frost or a hard freeze will be likely again Saturday night as temperatures fall into the upper 20s. Winds will shift out of the south on Sunday and will become breezy. Highs will return to the middle 50s under mostly sunny skies.
Early in the next work week it will be mild, and shower chances will develop. Monday will be increasingly cloudy, windy, and milder with a chance for showers late in the day. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and continued mild with scattered showers. Highs will reach the middle 60s Monday and Tuesday. Shower chances will continue on Wednesday with highs near 60.
