It will be variably cloudy and much cooler this afternoon as clouds begin to break up and winds die down. Highs will be in the upper 50s. Skies will become mostly clear tonight and lows will be near 40. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and not as cool with highs in the lower 60s.
A cold front will move through the state on Thursday, leading to variably cloudy skies and a chance of isolated showers. Highs will remain in the lower 60s. Behind the front, skies will partially clear late Thursday night, and some patchy frost will be possible as lows drop into the mid 30s. Friday will be partly sunny, breezy and much cooler with highs in the lower 50s. Frost will be likely Friday night, and some spots could experience a hard freeze with lows dropping into the 20s.
Saturday will be mostly sunny, but unseasonably cool with highs in the upper 40s. Frost will be likely again Saturday night, and some areas could see another hard freeze. Winds will shift to the south on Sunday and become breezy as highs return to the mid 50s under partly sunny skies.
Early next week it will be mild again and chances of showers will develop. Monday will be partly sunny, windy and mild with a slight chance of isolated showers and highs in the mid 60s. Tuesday will be variably cloudy, breezy and continued mild with a chance of showers late in the day and highs remaining in the mid 60s. Scattered showers will move through Wednesday with highs in the lower 60s.
