Skies will be mostly sunny this afternoon and it will be a little milder with highs returning to the lower and middle 60s. It will be mostly clear and seasonably cool tonight with lows near 40.
A cold front will move through the state on Thursday with partly sunny skies and a chance of isolated showers. Highs will remain in the lower 60s. Behind the front, skies will be clearing late Thursday night, and some patchy frost will be possible as lows drop into the middle 30s. Friday will be partly sunny and much cooler with highs dropping to around 50. Widespread frost will develop Friday night and a hard freeze is likely in some areas as temperatures fall into the middle 20s.
Saturday will be mostly sunny, but unseasonably cool with highs in the upper 40s. Frost or a hard freeze will be likely again Saturday night as temperatures fall into the upper 20s. Winds will shift out of the south on Sunday and will become breezy. Highs will return to the middle 50s under mostly sunny skies.
Early next week it will be mild again and shower chances will develop. Monday will be partly sunny, windy, and milder with a slight chance of showers late in the day and highs in the mid to upper 60s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with scattered showers and highs in the lower 60s. Shower chances will end on Wednesday and highs will be near 60. Thursday will be partly sunny and pleasant with highs near 60 again.
