Tonight will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and mild with occasional showers and evening thunderstorms. Temperatures will fall to the lower 50s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the middle 40s by morning.
On Thursday, a low pressure system will move away to the northeast with showers coming to an end. It will be mostly cloudy, very windy, and cooler with showers gradually ending. High temperatures will reach the upper 40s early in the day, then hold nearly steady or slowly fall through the 40s during the day. Winds may gust as strong as 45 MPH during the day.
In the wake of the storm system, Friday will be variably cloudy, windy, and chilly with high temperatures only reaching the lower 40s. There is a slight chance of light rain or snow showers from Thursday night into Friday morning.
Milder weather will move quickly back into southern Wisconsin for the weekend into early next week. Saturday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and milder with high temperatures in the lower 50s. Sunday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and mild with high temperatures in the upper 50s.
Monday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with scattered showers developing as another strong low pressure system approaches the area. High temperatures will remain in the middle 50s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and mild with scattered showers and high temperatures in the middle 50s again. Scattered showers and mostly cloudy skies will continue into Wednesday. It will turn breezy and cooler with high temperatures around 50 degrees, with temperatures falling back into the 40s during the afternoon.

A WIND ADVISORY has been issued from 9 AM Thursday morning until 6 PM Thursday evening for parts of east-central, south-central, and southeastern Wisconsin, including the counties of MARQUETTE, GREEN LAKE, SAUK, COLUMBIA, and DODGE.
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is an ENHANCED RISK for severe thunderstorms across southeastern Iowa and west-central Illinois for today and tonight. In addition, there is a SLIGHT RISK for severe thunderstorms across rest of the southern and eastern Iowa, the rest of the northern three-quarters of Illinois, and extreme southern Wisconsin (south of a Prairie du Chien to Madison to Kenosha line); and a MARGINAL RISK for severe thunderstorms for extreme southeastern Minnesota, the most of rest of Iowa, far southern and southeastern Illinois, and the rest of the southern half of Wisconsin (south of a Rochester, MN to Wausau to Green Bay line). A developing strong storm system will track from Kansas through Iowa and into southern Wisconsin by tonight. Mild and increasingly humid air will be transported northward on strong southerly winds into the central Midwest ahead of the storm. A cold front will swing eastward from Iowa into Wisconsin and Illinois from late this afternoon into tonight as the storm moves through southern Wisconsin. Thunderstorms along and ahead of the cold front may become severe, especially from southern Iowa into Illinois, where there is a threat for a few tornadoes, high winds, and hail. Farther northward into northern Iowa and southern Wisconsin, the main threat will be from high winds, and perhaps some hail. The severe weather threat will end with the passage of the cold front tonight.
