On Wednesday, fog should lift in the morning. Skies will then become partly sunny, and it will be breezy and unseasonably mild again. High temperatures will be in the lower 70s. The record high temperature for Wednesday is 72 degrees set in 2008.
A cold front will approach Wisconsin on Thursday with mostly cloudy skies and breezy winds. Showers and thunderstorms may develop late in the day, and become likely at night. It will remain very mild with high temperatures in the upper 60s. The record high temperature for Madison on Thursday is 71 degrees set in 2008.
An area of low pressure will move through southern Wisconsin from Thursday night into Friday. As the entire system heads east, showers will end on Friday. Gusty winds will bring much colder air into Wisconsin. Some clearing is possible in the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the lower 50s early in the day, then temperatures will hold steady or slowly fall through the the 40s in the afternoon.
High pressure will build across Wisconsin for the weekend with dry weather expected. Skies will be partly sunny on Saturday with high temperatures reaching the upper 40s. Sunday will be mostly sunny and breezy as the high pressure system heads to the east. High temperatures will return to the middle 50s.
Monday will be partly sunny, breezy, and mild with high temperatures in the middle 50s; there will be a slight chance for showers. Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy, and mild again with high temperatures remaining in the middle 50s. Skies will become mostly cloudy and showers will develop on Tuesday night.
