NOTES:
The Storm Prediction Center says that there is a MARGINAL RISK for severe thunderstorms for eastern Minnesota, almost all of Iowa, all of Illinois, and the southwestern half of Wisconsin (west and south of a Superior to Hayward to Oshkosh to Sheboygan line). Unseasonably mild and somewhat humid air will cover the Midwest ahead of an approaching low pressure system and cold front. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop along and just ahead of the front as it moves from Minnesota and Iowa into Wisconsin and Illinois on Thursday night, Very strong wind fields and some wind shear may lead to isolated severe thunderstorms. The main threats will be high winds and hail, although an isolated brief tornado cannot be ruled out. The severe weather threat will diminish after sunset, and end with the passage of the cold front.
