Sunday will be partly sunny and milder with high temperatures in the lower 60s.

The first half of next week will be partly sunny and quite warm for early November. Highs will reach the upper 60s on Monday, and on Tuesday and Wednesday it will be breezy with highs near 70. We will be near the record of 72 for Madison on Wednesday.

It will remain mild on Thursday with high temperatures in the middle 60s, but skies will become variably cloudy and there is a chance that showers will develop, mainly in the afternoon, as a cold front moves into Wisconsin. An area of low pressure will travel along that front and through the area Thursday night and Friday, which will bring scattered showers and cooler temperatures as Friday's highs drop into the middle 50s.

Behind that system, Saturday will remain mostly cloudy and cool with a chance of light rain or drizzle and highs falling into the mid 40s. Skies will become mostly sunny on Sunday with highs returning to the lower 50s.
