A slow moving strong storm system will develop in the central Plains, and will move slowly toward Wisconsin through the middle of next week. Monday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with scattered showers; high temperatures will be in the middle 50s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. Wednesday will remain mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with scattered showers and highs in the mid to upper 50s.
As the low pressure system moves away from Wisconsin, cooler weather will return. Thursday will be variably cloudy, breezy and cooler with a chance of lingering showers; high temperatures will fall back near to near 50 degrees. Friday will be mostly cloudy and chilly with a chance of rain/snow showers and high temperatures in the lower 40s.
Chilly weather will be with us for next weekend. Saturday and Sunday will both be variably cloudy and chilly with highs near 40.
