Warm southerly winds will bring mild temperatures today. It will be mostly sunny and quite mild with highs in the upper 60s. Tonight will be mostly clear and continued comfortable with lows in the upper 40s.
Winds out of the south to southwest will continue to pump very mild air into the region Tuesday and Wednesday. Skies will be mostly sunny Tuesday and partly sunny on Wednesday. Highs will be near 70 degrees each day. We will be near the record high of 72 for Madison on Wednesday.
A cold front will move through Wisconsin on Thursday with breezy winds, skies becoming mostly cloudy, and showers developing. Highs will top out in the middle 60s. An area of low pressure will travel along that front and through the area Thursday night and early Friday. Showers will come to an end early Friday as the wave of low pressure heads east. The remainder of Friday will become partly sunny and much cooler with highs in the lower 50s.
High pressure will build across Wisconsin next weekend with plenty of sunshine, but seasonably cool temperatures. Highs will reach the upper 40s Saturday and Sunday.
