Skies will be mostly sunny today, and it will be unseasonably mild again. High temperatures will reach the lower 70s, near record high temperature levels. The record high for Madison on Tuesday is 76 degrees set in 1964.

Wednesday will be another unseasonably mild day. Skies will be partly sunny and it will be breezy as well. High temperatures will reach the lower 70s. The record high temperature for Wednesday is 72 degrees set in 2008, and certainly is in danger of being broken.

A cold front will approach Wisconsin on Thursday with skies becoming mostly cloudy, breezy winds, and a chance for showers to develop late in the day. High temperatures will top out in the middle to upper 60s; not quite as mild as the previous few days, but still within a few degrees of record high temperature levels.

An area of low pressure will move through the area Thursday night and Friday, dragging a cold front through southern Wisconsin. Showers will gradually come to an end on Friday as the cold front heads to the east. High temperatures will reach the lower 50s early on Friday, but temperatures will hold steady or fall into the 40s in the afternoon as brisk northwesterly winds bring in colder weather behind the front.

High pressure will build across Wisconsin for the weekend with dry weather expected. Skies will be partly sunny Saturday with high temperatures reaching the middle 40s. Sunday will be mostly sunny and breezy as the high pressure system heads to the east; high temperatures will return to the middle 50s.

Monday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and mild with high temperatures in the middle 50s.
