Skies will clear from west to east this afternoon, and winds will remain breezy. Highs will only make it to the lower to middle 40s. Tonight will be mostly clear as high pressure builds into the area. Low temperatures will fall into the upper 20s by early Saturday morning.
Milder air will move quickly back into southern Wisconsin for the weekend into early next week. Saturday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and milder with high temperatures in the middle 50s. Sunday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and mild with high temperatures in the upper 50s.
A slow moving strong storm system will develop in the central Plains, and will move slowly toward Wisconsin through the middle of next week. Monday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with scattered showers; high temperatures will be in the middle 50s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with scattered showers; isolated thunderstorms are possible as well. High temperatures will reach the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. Wednesday will remain mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with scattered showers. High temperatures will be in the upper 50s to around 60 again.
As the low pressure system moves away from Wisconsin, cooler weather will return. Thursday will be mostly cloudy, breezy and cooler with a chance of lingering showers; high temperatures will fall back near 50. Friday will be variably cloudy, breezy, and cool with high temperatures in the lower 40s and a slight chance of flurries.
