Milder air will move quickly back into southern Wisconsin for the weekend into early next week. Today will be mostly sunny, breezy, and milder. High temperatures will reach the middle to upper 50s.
Tonight will be mostly clear and milder. Temperatures will fall to the upper 40s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to around 40 degrees by morning.
Sunday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and quite mild. High temperatures will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
A slow moving strong storm system will develop in the central Plains, and will move slowly toward Wisconsin through the middle of next week. Monday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with scattered showers; high temperatures will be in the middle 50s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with scattered showers; isolated thunderstorms are possible as well. High temperatures will reach the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. Wednesday will remain mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. High temperatures will be near 60 again.
As the low pressure system moves away from Wisconsin, cooler weather will return. Thursday will be mostly cloudy, breezy and cooler with a chance of lingering showers; high temperatures will fall back near to near 50 degrees. Friday will be variably cloudy, breezy, and cool with high temperatures in the middle 40s.
Chilly weather will be with us for next weekend. Saturday will be variably cloudy and breezy, and Sunday will be partly sunny. High temperatures for both days will be near 40 degrees.
