As temperatures become colder Thursday night, rain may mix with snow and freezing rain late. Mixed precipitation will come to an end Friday. Mostly cloudy skies early on Friday may become partly sunny late in the day as the cold front passes to the east. It will be windy and colder with high temperatures in the middle/upper 30s early on Friday morning followed by temperatures falling through the 30s during the day.
Milder temperatures are in the forecast for the weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny with high temperatures in the lower 40s. A weather system will pass across Illinois on Sunday, bringing variably cloudy skies and a slight chance for rain showers to southern Wisconsin. High temperatures will be in the lower 40s.
