Saturday will be mostly sunny and seasonably cold with high temperatures near 30 degrees. Skies on Sunday will become increasingly cloudy, and it will be breezy and milder with high temperatures near 40 degrees. There is a chance for showers by late Sunday afternoon as a low pressure system approaches Wisconsin.
Rain showers may mix with snow later Sunday night as the low pressure system moves through Wisconsin, dragging a cold front through the state by Monday morning. As the system continues to move to the east Monday, rain and snow showers will come to an end. Some clearing is possible Monday afternoon, winds will be breezy, and high temperatures will top out in the upper 30s.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy and mild with high temperatures near 40 degrees.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and continued mild with a chance for a few rain showers, mainly in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the lower 40s. Rain and snow showers will become likely Wednesday night.
Rain and snow showers will gradually come to an end on Christmas Eve day. Winds will be breezy, and high temperatures will return to the upper 30s. Christmas Day will be variably cloudy and pleasant with high temperatures in the upper 30s. Christmas Day night will be breezy with a chance for rain and snow showers.
