Tonight will be cloudy and mild with areas of fog and drizzle. lows will stay near 30.

Sunday will be variably cloudy and breezy with high temperatures still remaining a little above normal, topping out in the middle 30s.

A developing storm system will affect southern Wisconsin from late Sunday night through early Tuesday morning. Skies will become mostly cloudy on Sunday night, and it will remain breezy with lows dropping into the mid 20s. On Monday, it will be quite windy with a wintry mix of rain, snow, sleet, and freezing rain becoming likely, and some snow and ice accumulation also likely. On Monday night that mix of precipitation types will turn over to all snow, with additional accumulation likely. At this time, there is still some uncertainty in the track of the storm, so ice and snow totals are hard to pinpoint.

On Tuesday, precipitation will diminish to snow showers and flurries. It will be mostly cloudy, becoming less windy, and seasonably cool with high temperatures in the lower to middle 30s. Wednesday will be variably cloudy and seasonably cold with a chance of flurries and highs in the upper 20s.

New Year's Eve will be variably cloudy and seasonably cold with high temperatures in the middle 20s; temperatures will be in the mid teens around midnight to ring in the new year. The first day of 2016 will be cold as well. Skies will be partly sunny and high temperatures will be in the lower 20s.

Quiet and seasonably cold weather is expected for the first weekend of the New Year. Saturday will be variably cloudy, breezy, and cold with high temperatures in the mid to upper 20s. Sunday will be mostly sunny and a little milder with highs in the mid 30s.
