More typical December weather will return to Wisconsin late in the work week. Thursday will be mostly cloudy and colder with high temperatures in the middle 30s. Friday will be partly sunny and cold with high temperatures in the upper 20s.
Temperatures will turn the corner and start becoming mild again as we head through the weekend. Saturday will be mostly sunny and seasonably cold with high temperatures near 30 degrees. Sunday will be increasingly cloudy, breezy, and milder with high temperatures near 40 degrees, with a chance for rain showers developing late in the day as a low pressure system approaches Wisconsin.
Rain showers will mix with snow on Sunday night as the storm system moves through Wisconsin, and drags a cold front through the state by early Monday morning. As the system continues to move to the east, the rain and snow showers will come to an end on Monday morning with skies becoming partly sunny. Winds will be breezy as high temperatures reach the upper 30s.
Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy, and mild as southerly winds increase ahead of the next storm system. High temperatures will reach the lower to middle 40s. Rain will develop on Tuesday night.
