This afternoon will be mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with any rain showers ending. High temperatures will in the upper 40s, but will fall steadily. Skies will remain mostly cloudy tonight and lows will drop to the upper 20s.
More typical December weather will return to Wisconsin late in the work week. Thursday will be mostly cloudy and colder with high temperatures in the middle 30s. Friday will be partly sunny and cold with high temperatures in the mid to upper 20s.
Temperatures will turn the corner and start becoming mild again as we head through the weekend. Saturday will be mostly sunny and seasonably cold with high temperatures in the lower 30s. Sunday will be increasingly cloudy, breezy, and milder with high temperatures near 40 degrees. A chance of showers will develop late in the day as a low pressure system approaches Wisconsin.
Rain showers may mix with snow briefly on Sunday night as the storm system moves through Wisconsin, and drags a cold front through the state by early Monday morning. As the system continues to move to the east, any rain or snow showers will come to an end on Monday morning with some clearing in the afternoon. Winds will be breezy as high temperatures reach the upper 30s.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy and mild as southerly winds increase ahead of the next storm system. High temperatures will reach the lower to middle 40s. Wednesday and Christmas Eve will be mostly cloudy, breezy and mild as several low pressure systems make their way through the Midwest. There will be chances of rain showers both days and highs will be in the lower to middle 40s.
