Friday will be variably cloudy and seasonably cold with highs in the upper 20s. There is a chance of a few scattered flurries in the afternoon. Friday night will be quite chilly with lows falling to the lower teens.
Saturday will be mostly sunny and seasonably cold with high temperatures near 30 degrees. Skies on Sunday will become increasingly cloudy, and it will be breezy and milder with high temperatures in the lower 40s. A chance for showers will develop late in the day as a low pressure system approaches Wisconsin.
Rain showers may mix with snow briefly later Sunday night as the storm system moves through Wisconsin, dragging a cold front through the state by Monday morning. As the system continues to move to the east, any rain or snow showers will come to an end early on Monday morning with some clearing possible in the afternoon. Winds will be breezy as high temperatures reach the upper 30s.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy and mild with high temperatures near 40. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, breezy and continued mild with a chance of a few rain showers and highs in the lower 40s.
It appears that the chances for a white Christmas will be small, but the chances for good travelling weather will be high. Christmas Eve will be mostly cloudy, breezy and mild with a chance of rain showers and highs in the lower 40s again. Christmas Day will be variably cloudy and continued mild with highs remaining in the lower 40s.
