This afternoon will be variably cloudy, breezy, and cold with high temperatures in the upper 20s. A few scattered light snow showers and flurries will move through the area with any accumulations under an inch. Skies will become mostly clear tonight and lows will tumble to the lower teens.
Saturday will be mostly sunny and seasonably cold with high temperatures near 30 degrees. Skies on Sunday will become increasingly cloudy, and it will be breezy and milder with high temperatures in the lower 40s. There is a chance of showers late in the day as a low pressure system approaches Wisconsin.
Rain showers may mix with snow later Sunday night as the low pressure system moves through Wisconsin, dragging a cold front through the state by Monday morning. As the system continues to move to the east Monday, rain and snow showers will come to an end early. Some clearing is possible Monday afternoon, winds will be breezy, and high temperatures will top out in the upper 30s.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy, becoming breezy and mild with high temperatures near 40 degrees.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and continued mild with a chance of a few rain showers. High temperatures will reach the lower to middle 40s. A chance of rain and snow showers will continue Wednesday night.
Any rain/snow mix will gradually come to an end on Christmas Eve day. It will be variably cloudy and a little cooler with highs in the upper 30s. Christmas Day will be partly sunny, breezy and mild with highs near 40. Rain showers will develop Christmas night and continue into early Saturday. It will still be breezy and mild with highs in the lower 40s.
