Sunshine will continue this afternoon, but it will be bitterly cold. High temperatures will climb to the middle single digits above zero, but wind chills will stay below zero all day.
We'll see one more bitterly cold night tonight. Skies will be mostly clear, with low temperatures falling to between 5 and 10 degrees below zero. Winds will be lighter, but wind chills should still drop to between -10 and -20 by early Tuesday morning. Tuesday will be mostly sunny, but not quite as cold. High temperatures will climb back to the middle teens.
Temperatures will return to near normal for the rest of the week. A weather system passing to the south of Wisconsin will bring snow showers and flurries on Tuesday night. Cloudy skies will keep temperatures above zero. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and it won't be as cold with snow showers and flurries ending; high temperatures will be in the lower to middle 20s. Thursday will be variably cloudy with high temperatures in the middle 20s. Friday will be partly sunny and breezy with high temperatures in the lower to middle 20s/
Temperatures will moderate a little over the weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny, breezy. and a little milder with high temperatures in the upper 20s. Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance for flurries; high temperatures will be in the lower 30s.
