Skies will become mostly cloudy on Friday, and it will be breezy with high temperatures reaching the middle 30s. There is a chance of freezing drizzle, sleet, and flurries late Friday afternoon and night.
Above-normal temperatures are expected for the weekend. Skies will be mostly cloudy on Saturday with a slight chance for drizzle and high temperatures in the upper 30s. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a chance for drizzle or flurries and highs in the middle 30s.
The unsettled pattern continues next week. Monday will be variably cloudy and a little colder with highs near 30. On Tuesday, a major winter storm will move into the area, but the timing and placement are uncertain. It will be windy with likely a mix of rain and snow to start, then becoming all snow later in the day or at night. This storm bears watching, as it could be a big snow producer.
