Skies will become mostly cloudy today, and it will remain cold with a chance for snow showers and flurries, mainly in the afternoon. Morning wind chills will range from -10 to -20 with temperatures in the single digits below zero. High temperatures will reach the upper teens this afternoon.
As milder air heads into Wisconsin, temperatures will hold steady or slowly rise tonight with a chance for some flurries or freezing drizzle. Thursday will be mostly cloudy and milder with high temperatures getting back to the lower 30s. There will be another chance for freezing drizzle Thursday night. Friday will be mostly cloudy with snow showers developing. The snow may mix with sleet or freezing rain as high temperatures reach the lower 30s. Precipitation will change to light snow on Friday night.
Another shot of frigid weather will arrive from the weekend into early next week. Saturday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and colder with snow showers and flurries. High temperatures will be in the teens in the morning before temperatures fall back through the afternoon. Temperatures will fall to around zero by early Sunday morning, with wind chills as cold as -10 to -25. Sunday will be variably cloudy, windy, and very cold with a slight chance for flurries. High temperatures will be near 10 and wind chills will range from 0 to -10 through the day.
Bitterly cold weather will stick around Monday and Tuesday of next week. Temperatures will fall into the single digits below zero on Monday and Tuesday mornings with wind chills as cold as -25 on Monday morning. Skies will be mostly sunny and high temperatures will be in the upper single digits Monday and in the middle teens on Tuesday.
