Areas of dense fog this morning, especially north of Dane county.  Otherwise, today will be mostly cloudy, and it will turn colder in the afternoon. There is a chance for some flurries.  High temperatures this morning will be in the middle to upper 30s, with temperatures holding nearly steady or slowly falling in the afternoon back into the upper 20s by late in the day.  Temperatures will continue to fall back into the teens overnight.  Scattered flurries will be possible overnight.

Another shot of frigid weather will arrive for the weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny, breezy, and colder; high temperatures will be in the middle teens early in the day with temperatures steady or slowly falling through the teens during the day. There will be a slight chance for flurries as well. Low temperatures will drop to near 5 below zero by early Sunday morning, with wind chills as cold as -10 to -25. Sunday will be partly sunny, windy, and very cold with high temperatures in the lower single digits; however, wind chills will remain as cold as -15 to -30 through the day.  

Bitterly cold weather will stick around Monday with mostly sunny skies. Low temperatures may drop to 5 to 10 below zero with wind chills will be as cold as -15 to -30 in the morning, and as cold as -10 through the day as high temperatures climb to the upper single digits above zero. Tuesday will be partly sunny and continued cold with high temperatures in the middle teens.

Wednesday will be partly sunny and not quite as cold with highs in the lower 20s. Thursday and Friday will be partly sunny and seasonably cold with highs in the upper 20s to around 30 degrees.

Partly sunny, windy, and bitter cold.

High: 2; Wind Chills: -15 to -30 during the day

MONDAY:
Mostly sunny, breezy, and bitter cold.
Low: -9; Wind Chills: -15 to -30 in the morning
High: 6; Wind Chills: 0 to -10 during the day

TUESDAY:
Mostly sunny and quite cold.
Low: -3; Wind Chills: -5 to -15 in the morning
High: 16

WEDNESDAY:
Partly sunny and not quite as cold.
Low: 7
High: 21

THURSDAY:
Partly sunny and seasonably cold.
Low: 12
