Light snow will taper to flurries this morning with total snow accumulations of 1-5". The heaviest amounts will be in areas north of Madison. Temperatures will start in the upper 20s this morning, but only climb a couple of degrees and then hold steady. Northwest winds will make it feel a little colder during the afternoon. Skies will become partly cloudy tonight with temperatures falling into the middle teens. Wednesday will be partly sunny and turning breezy. Highs will reach the upper 20s. Another fast-moving low pressure system will pass by to the north Wednesday night and Thursday. Skies will become mostly cloudy Wednesday night with a chance for flurries developing.
Thursday will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and a little milder with a continued chance for flurries. High temperatures will be in the middle 30s. Skies will become mostly cloudy on Friday, and it will become breezy with high temperatures reaching the middle 30s. There is a chance for flurries Friday afternoon and night.
Above-normal temperatures are expected for the start of the weekend. Skies will be mostly cloudy on Saturday with high temperatures in the upper 30s. There is a chance for flurries beginning Saturday night, and gradually ending on Sunday morning. Otherwise, Sunday will be variably cloudy and a little colder with high temperatures in the lower to middle 30s.
Monday will be mostly cloudy with a chance for flurries. High temperatures will be near 30 degrees.
