Skies will become increasingly cloudy today, although it will be a little milder. High temperatures will reach the lower to middle 30s.

A slow moving storm system will begin to affect Wisconsin tonight. Scattered light snow showers will develop, and may mix with some freezing drizzle by early Thursday morning.  Any accumulations will be minor, less than 1".

As the slow-moving weather system continues to move toward Wisconsin on Thursday, skies will be mostly cloudy. Light snow and freezing drizzle will change to drizzle or light rain showers as high temperatures reach the middle to upper 30s. The precipitation may change to a mixture of light snow, sleet, and rain on Thursday night. On Friday, high temperatures will reach the middle to upper 30s. It will be mostly cloudy with any mix of precipitation changing to rain showers. Rain showers will change back to light snow on Friday night as temperatures fall below freezing.

Colder weather will return for the weekend. Saturday will be mostly cloudy and turning windy and colder with snow showers and flurries. High temperatures will be around 30 degrees in the morning before temperatures fall through the 20s in the afternoon. Sunday will be variably cloudy, windy, and colder with a chance for flurries. High temperatures will only reach the lower teens.

The coldest air of the winter will arrive early next week. Low temperatures on Monday morning may fall into the single digits below zero, and wind chills could drop to -5 to 20. Monday will be partly sunny, breezy, and quite cold with high temperatures near 10 degrees. Tuesday will be continued very cold with temperatures starting near zero, and wind chills as cold as -5 to -20. The rest of Tuesday will be variably cloudy and breezy with a chance for flurries. High temperatures will reach the middle teens.

Variable cloudiness, windy, and colder with a chance for flurries.
