This afternoon will be mostly sunny, but very cold with highs remaining in the upper single digits. Frigid conditions are expected tonight with mostly clear skies; low temperatures will be in the single digits below zero with wind chills as cold as -10 to -25 through early Wednesday morning.
Wednesday will be another very cold day with high temperatures only reaching the middle teens. Clouds will thicken Wednesday with a chance of flurries developing in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will slowly rise Wednesday night and there will be a chance of some freezing drizzle. Thursday will be mostly cloudy and milder with high temperatures getting back to the lower 30s. Friday will be mostly cloudy with snow showers developing. Snow may mix with sleet or freezing rain as highs will be in the lower 30s again.
Another shot of frigid weather arrives for the weekend into early next week. Saturday will be variably cloudy, windy, and colder with a chance of snow showers and flurries. High temperatures will reach the lower 20s in the morning before temperatures fall back through the teens in the afternoon. Temperatures will fall to around zero by early Sunday morning, with wind chills as cold as -10 to -25. Sunday will be variably cloudy, windy, and very cold with a slight chance for flurries. High temperatures will be near 10 and wind chills will range from 0 to -15 through the day.
Bitterly cold weather will stick around Monday and Tuesday of next week. Temperatures will drop below zero Monday and Tuesday mornings with wind chills as cold as -25 on Monday morning. Highs will be in the upper single digits Monday and in the mid teens on Tuesday. Skies will be partly sunny both days.
