A low-pressure system will move through Wisconsin today. Light rain will develop this afternoon, but may mix with light freezing drizzle or sleet for a time. High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 30s.
Mixed precipitation will change to light snow on Monday night, with 1-4" of accumulation possible by morning (the heaviest amounts will be northwest of Madison). It will be mostly cloudy with low temperatures falling to the upper 20s by morning.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, breezy and a little colder with light snow and scattered flurries diminishing; high temperatures will be around 30 degrees although temperatures should hold nearly steady through the day. Wednesday will be variably cloudy and seasonably cold with high temperatures in the upper 20s.
Another fast-moving low-pressure system will pass by to the north on Thursday. It will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and a little milder with a chance for flurries; high temperatures will be in the middle 30s. Skies will become increasingly cloudy on Friday, and it will become breezy with high temperatures reaching the middle 30s. There is a chance for flurries late in the day or on Friday night.
Slightly above-normal temperatures are expected for next weekend. Skies will be mostly cloudy on Saturday with high temperatures in the upper 30s. There is a chance for flurries from Saturday night, gradually ending on Sunday morning. Otherwise, Sunday will be variably cloudy and a little colder with high temperatures around 30 degrees.
Another developing storm system may affect southern Wisconsin by late Monday into Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Monday will be mostly cloudy with a chance for rain and snow showers by late in the day. High temperatures will be in the middle 30s.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect from 3 PM this afternoon until 6 AM Tuesday morning for parts of south-central Wisconsin, including the counties of MARUQETTE, GREEN LAKE, COLUMBIA, and SAUK.
