This afternoon will be mostly cloudy with scattered flurries  and temperatures slowly falling from early highs near 30. Tonight will be variably cloudy and colder with lows in the upper teens. 

Skies will become mostly cloudy again on Wednesday, and it will be breezy with another chance of flurries developing late in the day as another quick moving system passes to our north. Highs will be near 30. 

Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a continued chance for flurries and highs in the lower 30s. Skies will become mostly cloudy on Friday, and it will be breezy with high temperatures reaching the middle 30s. There is a chance of freezing rain, sleet and flurries Friday afternoon and night. 

Above-normal temperatures are expected for the start of the weekend. Skies will be mostly cloudy on Saturday with high temperatures in the upper 30s and a slight chance of drizzle. Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain/snow showers and highs in the mid to upper 30s.

The unsettled pattern continues next week. Monday will be variably cloudy with a chance of flurries and highs near 30. On Tuesday, a major winter storm will move into the area, but the timing and placement are uncertain. It will be windy with likely a mix of rain and snow to start, then becoming all snow later in the day or overnight. This storm bears watching, as it could be a big snow producer.
