Scattered snow showers will linger across southern Wisconsin into this evening as a wave of low pressure continues to pass through the region. Any additional snow accumulations through this evening should be an inch or less. Later tonight, snow showers will taper to flurries. Temperatures will hold nearly steady in the middle to upper teens through the night.
Temperatures will begin to moderate a bit this work week. Skies will be mostly cloudy Monday with any lingering flurries ending early. Temperatures will approach 30 degrees. Monday night will be mostly cloudy and milder with a chance for light snow or flurries late. Temperatures will fall into the lower 20s by early Tuesday morning. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a chance for light snow or flurries as a fast moving low pressure system slides through the region. High temperatures will reach the lower to middle 30s. Skies will become partly sunny on Wednesday and it will turn a little colder as high temperatures drop back to the middle and upper 20s.
Milder weather is expected for the end of the work week. Thursday will be variably cloudy, windy, and milder with a chance for drizzle developing at night. High temperatures will reach the middle 30s. Friday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and quite mild with a chance for rain showers. High temperatures will reach the upper 40s.
Temperatures will become a little cooler over the weekend, although they are still expected to be above normal for this time of the year. Highs will reach the upper 30s to the lower 40s. Saturday will be partly sunny. Sunday will be increasingly cloudy and breezy with a chance for rain and snow showers developing late in the day.
