Tonight will be mostly cloudy with areas of fog. Snow, sleet, and rain will diminish to flurries, freezing drizzle, and drizzle. Any additional snow accumulations for areas north of Madison will be an inch or two. Overnight, snow showers will develop, possibly mixed with rain from Madison to the south and east. Temperatures will remain nearly steady in the lower to middle 30s.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and breezy, and will turn colder in the afternoon. Snow showers may bring an inch or two of additional snow accumulation. High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 30s, but temperatures will fall into the upper 20s in the afternoon. Flurries will end Wednesday evening, with skies becoming partly cloudy overnight. Temperatures will fall into the lower teens by early Thursday morning. 

Skies will become increasingly cloudy on Thursday, and it will be colder with high temperatures in the lower to middle 20s. There is a chance for flurries later Thursday or Thursday night. Friday will be partly sunny and not as cold with high temperatures near 30 degrees. Another chance for flurries will develop Friday night.

Any lingering flurries will come to an end early Saturday. The rest of Saturday will be variably cloudy and a little milder with high temperatures in the middle 30s. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with high temperatures in the lower 30s. Snow showers and flurries will develop, mainly in the afternoon.

Monday will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and colder with snow showers and flurries. High temperatures will reach the middle 20s, but temperatures should tumble into the teens by late afternoon.

Tuesday will be variably cloudy, windy, and much colder with a chance for flurries. Temperatures will start in the single digits Tuesday morning with wind chills from 0 to -15. Highs on Tuesday afternoon will only reach the lower teens with wind chills remaining below zero through the day.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect until 10 PM for parts of south-central and southeastern Wisconsin, including the counties of DODGE and DANE (this includes the Madison metropolitan area).

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect until 6 AM Wednesday morning for northeastern Iowa, and southwestern and parts of south-central Wisconsin. In Iowa, this includes the counties of ALLAMAKEE and CLAYTON. In Wisconsin, this includes the counties of RICHLAND, SAUK, COLUMBIA, CRAWFORD, IOWA, and GRANT.
