Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight, and it will be a little colder. Temperatures will fall to the lower 30s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the middle to upper 20s by morning.
On Wednesday, a strong area of low pressure will track to the east of Wisconsin. Skies will be mostly cloudy and it will be windy. Snow showers and flurries are possible in the afternoon, mainly east of Madison. High temperatures will top out around 40 degrees by noon, then temperatures will fall through the 30s in the afternoon. Any lingering snow showers will come to an end Wednesday evening.
In the wake of the storm, Thursday will become partly sunny, windy, and a little colder with high temperatures in the lower to middle 30s. Friday will be partly sunny and seasonably cold with high temperatures in the middle 30s.
A developing storm system will bring milder weather from Saturday through Sunday morning before colder weather arrives on Sunday afternoon. Saturday will be mostly sunny, breezy, and milder with high temperatures in the middle to the upper 40s. Sunday will start out partly sunny, breezy, and mild with high temperatures in the lower 40s by midday. Skies will then become mostly cloudy on Sunday afternoon as rain showers develop. It will turn windy and colder as temperatures fall through the 30s in the afternoon. The rain showers will change to snow showers before ending at night.
It will be colder again early next week with high temperatures dropping back into the lower 30s. Monday will be variably cloudy, and skies will become mostly cloudy and it will turn breezy on Tuesday. There is a chance for snow showers to develop late in the day on Tuesday.
