Skies will become partly cloudy tonight and it will be bitterly cold. Any flurries east of Madison will end early this evening. Temperatures will fall to the upper single digits by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to near zero with wind chills as cold as -5 to -20 by early Wednesday morning. 

Wednesday will be partly sunny and very cold. High temperatures will only reach the lower teens.

Wednesday night will be mostly clear and continued bitterly cold with low temperatures dipping to just below zero. Wind chills will range from -5 to -15 by early Thursday morning. 

Thursday will be mostly sunny and continued very cold. High temperatures will reach the upper teens. A chance for flurries will develop later Thursday night into Friday morning as a low-pressure system passes through Wisconsin. After the flurries end Friday morning, skies will become partly sunny, and it will be breezy and very cold. High temperatures will reach the middle teens on Friday morning, but will hold steady or fall into the lower teens by late in the afternoon.

Another shot of bitterly cold air will arrive from Friday night into Saturday. Low temperatures on Saturday morning will drop to the middle single digits below zero, while wind chills become as cold as -10 to -25. Saturday will be mostly sunny and bitterly cold with high temperatures only topping out in the lower teens. After low temperatures fall to around zero very early Sunday morning, temperatures will begin to rise. On Sunday, skies will become mostly cloudy, and it will be breezy and not as cold with snow showers and flurries developing. High temperatures will return to the lower 20s.

Next week, temperatures will continue to moderate. Snow showers and flurries will come to an end Monday, otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy, breezy, and not as cold with high temperatures in the lower 30s. Tuesday will be variably cloudy and seasonably cold with a chance for flurries. High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 30s.

THURSDAY:
Mostly sunny and continued very cold (becoming mostly cloudy with a chance for flurries at night).

Wind: W/NW 8-15 MPH

FRIDAY:
Mostly cloudy with any flurries ending, then becoming partly sunny, breezy, and very cold.
Low: 5; Wind Chills: 0 to -10 in the morning
High: 16; temperatures steady/slowly falling into the lower teens in the afternoon

SATURDAY:
Mostly sunny and bitterly cold.
Low: -5; Wind Chills: -10 to -25 in the morning
High: 12

SUNDAY:
Becoming mostly cloudy, breezy, and not as cold with snow showers and flurries developing in the afternoon.
Low: 0; temperatures nearly steady/slowly rising overnight
High: 22

MONDAY:
Mostly cloudy, breezy, and not as cold with snow showers and flurries ending.

TUESDAY:
Variable cloudiness and seasonably cold with a chance for flurries.
