On Wednesday, a large area of low pressure will track to the east of Wisconsin. The storm will be close enough to create some gusty winds as well as a chance for light snow or flurries, mainly east of Madison. The main snow accumulations will stay east of Wisconsin. Highs on Wednesday will reach the middle 30s. Any lingering flurries will come to an end Thursday morning. Winds will remain breezy, and highs will reach the lower 30s.
High pressure will build into the region Friday with partly sunny skies and colder temperatures. Highs will be near 30 degrees.
The weekend with remain a bit colder than normal. Saturday will be variably cloudy and windy with a chance for flurries as a wave of low pressure slides to our north. Highs will reach the middle to upper 20s. Sunday will be partly sunny and continued cold with highs in the lower to middle 20s.
