This afternoon will be variably cloudy, very windy and very mild. High temperatures will reach the lower to middle 50s. Winds will be sustained between 25 and 40 MPH with gusts as high as 60 MPH at times. There is also a slight chance of light rain showers, mainly north of Dane county. Tonight will be partly cloudy, breezy and mild with lows in the mid 30s.

Temperatures will remain mild into the weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny and continued mild with high temperatures in the middle 40s. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and turning a little colder with a chance of drizzle or flurries, mainly in the afternoon. High temperatures will be near 40.

Monday will be variably cloudy and pleasant with highs in the middle 30s. Tuesday will be variably cloudy and pleasant as well with a chance of rain or snow showers developing late in the day and changing to light snow overnight. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30s. Wednesday will be variably cloudy with any slight snow or flurries ending early and highs in the lower to middle 30s.

Thursday will be partly sunny and seasonably cold with high temperatures in the lower 30s. Friday will be partly sunny and a little colder with highs in the upper 20s to around 30.
