A strong area of low pressure will track to the east of Wisconsin this afternoon. Skies will be mostly cloudy and it will be windy with a chance of a few isolated flurries. High temperatures will top out in the upper 30s to around 40 degrees, then hold steady or slowly fall through the afternoon. Any flurries will come to an end this evening. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and continued windy with lows in the mid 20s.

In the wake of the storm, Thursday will become partly sunny, windy, and a little colder with high temperatures in the lower to middle 30s. Friday will be partly sunny and seasonably cold with high temperatures in the middle 30s.

Warmer temperatures will return this weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny, breezy and much milder with highs rising into the upper 40s. On Sunday a low pressure system will move into the area, but we will be on the warm side of it for most, if not all, of the day. Skies will become mostly cloudy and it will be breezy with highs in the mid 40s. Rain showers will develop later in the day, then mix with or change to light snow before ending overnight.

Temperatures will be cooler again early next week. Any flurries will end early on Monday with variably cloudy skies and highs dropping back into the mid to upper 30s. A storm system will move into the area on Tuesday, which will bring in a chance of rain and snow showers and highs will fall into the lower 30s. Any rain would change over to snow overnight before ending by early Wednesday.

Skies will then gradually clear on Wednesday with highs remaining in the lower 30s. Thursday will be partly sunny and pleasant with highs near 40.
