Tonight will be mostly cloudy and not as cold with light snow and flurries developing as a weak low-pressure area moves south of Wisconsin. Minor snow accumulations of up to an inch are possible, mainly south of Madison. Temperatures will fall to the lower 20s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to around 20 degrees by morning.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy and not quite as cold with light snow and flurries ending in the morning; some afternoon clearing is possible. High temperatures will be in the lower 30s.

Skies will become increasingly cloudy on Friday with high temperatures reaching the middle 30s. Light snow will develop Friday night, and may be mixed with sleet or freezing rain. Minor snow accumulations of 1-3" are possible Friday night. Flurries and freezing drizzle will come to an end early Saturday, with skies becoming partly sunny in the afternoon. High temperatures will be around 40 degrees. Milder air will continue to move into Wisconsin on Sunday with partly sunny skies, breezy winds, and high temperatures in the upper 40s. A chance for rain showers will develop Sunday night. 

The first half of next week will be very mild. As a strong low-pressure area develops to our west, skies will be mostly cloudy, and it will be windy and very mild. Scattered showers are likely, with a few thunderstorms possible as well on Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures will reach the middle to the upper 50s from Monday through Wednesday.
