Skies will be partly cloudy tonight, and it will become breezy. It won't be as cold with temperatures falling to the lower 40s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the upper 30s by morning.

Tuesday will be variably cloudy and milder with high temperatures in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.

A cold front will drop southward through Wisconsin late on Tuesday afternoon, allowing colder air to move in for Wednesday. At the same time, a developing storm system to the southwest along the cold front will track toward northern Illinois from Wednesday into Wednesday night. Skies will become cloudy on Tuesday night with a chance of rain showers late. The rain may mix with sleet and snow well north of madison where temperatures will be closer to the freezing mark. On Wednesday expect mostly cloudy, windy, and colder wither with occasional rain showers; a thunderstorm is also possible. High temperatures will be in the lower 40s, but well north of madison where temperatures are in the 30s some sleet and snow is possible with the rain. On Wednesday night as the storm moves into Indiana and Michigan, it will turn windy and colder with precipitation changing to all snow. Several inches of snow accumulation are possible, especially north of Madison where temperatures will turn colder the fastest.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and colder with snow tapering to flurries before ending late in the day. High temperatures will be in the middle 30s. Friday will be partly sunny. It will become breezy and a little milder again with high temperatures in the middle 40s.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy with rain showers developing. High temperatures will reach the upper 40s. Rain may mix with snow Saturday night. Easter Sunday will be mostly cloudy and chilly with rain showers although the rain may be mixed with snow, mainly in the morning, and again at night before ending. High temperatures will reach the middle 40s. 

Monday will be variably cloudy and chilly with a chance for sprinkles or flurries; high temperatures will only top out around 40 degrees.

A WINTER STORM WATCH has been issued from 4 PM Wednesday afternoon until noon Thursday for extreme northeastern Iowa, and west-central and parts of southwestern Wisconsin. In Iowa, this includes the county of ALLAMAKEE. In Wisconsin, this includes the counties of MONROE, JUNEAU, ADAMS, VERNON, RICHLAND, and CRAWFORD (this includes the La Crosse metropolitan area).

A WINTER STORM WATCH has been issued from 7 PM Wednesday evening until 1 PM Thursday afternoon for east-central and parts of south-central and southeastern Wisconsin including the counties of MARQUETTE, GREEN LAKE, SAUK, COLUMBIA, and DODGE.
