Low pressure sliding through the region will bring numerous showers and thunderstorms to southern Wisconsin tonight. Temperatures will rise into, or hold steady in the 50s through the night. Showers will continue into Thursday, with a few thunderstorms possible in the morning. Highs on Thursday will reach the lower to middle 50s before temperatures fall in the afternoon behind the cold front. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy and colder with areas of drizzle or flurries and lows in the lower 30s. Friday will be mostly cloudy and colder with a chance of rain showers, possibly mixed with flurries in the morning. Highs temperatures will drop back to the lower 40s.

Chilly air will move across Wisconsin for the weekend into early next week. Saturday will be mostly cloudy, windy, and chilly with a chance of light rain or snow, mainly in the morning. Some clearing is possible in the afternoon, and highs will only reach the lower 40s. Sunday will be increasingly cloudy and breezy with a chance of rain showers developing late in the day. Highs will reach the middle 40s. The rain showers may mix with sleet and freezing rain Sunday night.

Mixed precipitation will come to an end early Monday. The remainder of Monday will be breezy and chilly with highs in the middle 40s and skies becoming partly sunny in the afternoon. Tuesday will be partly sunny, turning breezy, and not quite as cool with highs near 50 degrees.

Showers will develop Tuesday night as another storm system moves into the area. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue Wednesday with breezy winds and highs reaching the middle 50s.
