Tonight will be mostly cloudy with areas of fog. Light snow, possibly mixed with rain this evening will diminish to flurries and freezing drizzle overnight before ending late. Any snow accumulations will be minor, perhaps around 1-2", mainly north and east of Madison. Temperatures will be in the lower to middle 30s this evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to around 30 degrees by morning.
Mostly cloudy skies on Saturday morning will become partly sunny on Saturday afternoon. It will be breezy and turn a little milder with high temperatures around 40 degrees.
Sunday will start out partly sunny, then skies will become mostly cloudy in the afternoon with a chance for showers by late afternoon or evening. It will be breezy and milder with high temperatures around 50 degrees.
Monday and Tuesday of next week will be very mild. As a strong low pressure area develops to our west, skies will be mostly cloudy, and it will be windy. Scattered showers are likely, with a few thunderstorms possible as well. High temperatures will reach the middle to the upper 50s on Monday and to the lower 60s on Tuesday.
The storm will pass to the north on Tuesday night, dragging a cold front through Wisconsin on Wednesday morning. Showers will come to an end early on Wednesday, followed by skies becoming partly sunny in the afternoon. It will be breezy, but not quite as mild with high temperatures dropping back to the lower 50s. Thursday will be partly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures around 50 degrees. Friday will be partly sunny and mild with high temperatures in the middle 50s.
A slow-moving storm system will move in from the south for next weekend. Skies will be mostly cloudy and it will be mild with scattered showers for both Saturday and Sunday; high temperatures will be in the lower 50s. Winds may be breezy on Sunday as well.
