A low-pressure system will move north of Wisconsin tonight, dragging a cold front into Wisconsin. Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with areas of fog. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms should develop. Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s by late evening; overnight low temperatures will fall to the upper 40s by morning. The record warmest low temperature for Madison for tomorrow is 40 degrees set in 1955. 

The cold front will stall to the south of Wisconsin on Wednesday. Showers should end early in the morning, otherwise, it will be variably cloudy and not quite as mild with high temperatures in the upper 50s. Another chance for showers will develop on Wednesday night, mainly in areas south and east of Madison. The low temperature for Wednesday night will fall to 40 degrees, right around the record for the warmest low temperature of 40 degrees set in 1936.

Thursday will be variably cloudy and mild with any showers ending early. High temperatures will reach the middle 50s. Friday will be partly sunny and mild with high temperatures in the upper 50s.

Temperatures will remain mild for the weekend. A slow-moving storm system to our south will arrive on Saturday and will linger through the weekend while slowly weakening. Skies become mostly cloudy with showers developing on Saturday afternoon. High temperatures will reach the middle 50s. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and high temperatures in the lower 50s.

Monday will be mostly cloudy and continued mild with showers ending. High temperatures will reach the lower 50s. Tuesday will be partly sunny, breezy, and milder with highs in the upper 50s.

Variable cloudiness and not quite as mild with showers ending in the morning.
